2) What KrakowMap provides

KrakowMap provides, in particular:

• an interactive map of Kraków and nearby places,
• pin pages and ranked lists based on the currently viewed area and community activity,
• tools for submitting public social links and public Facebook event links pinned to locations,
• moderation, reporting, liking, and sharing features,
• previews or embeds of third-party content where technically available.

3) Rules for using the service

You must use KrakowMap lawfully and in a way that does not disrupt, damage, overload, or abuse the service. In particular, you must not attempt unauthorized access, interfere with moderation or security mechanisms, scrape data at scale, or submit unlawful, misleading, infringing, or malicious content.

4) User submissions and moderation

You are responsible for content you submit, including URLs, titles, descriptions, coordinates, and event data. You must have the right to share that content and to associate it with the selected location.

Submitted content should genuinely relate to Kraków or to the pinned place. Event submissions should use public Facebook event links and accurate event dates. The Publisher may review, reject, hide, edit, or remove submissions, especially where they are misleading, abusive, unlawful, duplicated, irrelevant to the location, or technically broken.

5) Third-party content and links

KrakowMap may display or link to content from third-party platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, or Facebook. Those providers operate under their own rules and privacy policies. We do not control and are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, policies, or technical behavior of third-party services.

6) Informational character of the service

KrakowMap is an informational and discovery service. Presence of a pin, place, event, or external post does not mean endorsement, verification, sponsorship, or a guarantee of accuracy. Users should independently evaluate any place, event, or external content before relying on it.

7) Intellectual property

Unless stated otherwise, the Publisher's original materials within KrakowMap — including interface elements, layout, branding, and original editorial text — are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. User-submitted content remains the responsibility and property of its respective owners or rightsholders.

8) Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, KrakowMap is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. The Publisher is not liable for losses resulting from the use of, inability to use, or reliance on the service, including issues caused by third-party platforms, map providers, embeds, moderation outcomes, or user-submitted content.

9) External services, ads, and security tools

The service may use external providers such as hosting providers, map or geolocation services, analytics tools, advertising partners, and anti-abuse or security solutions. Those services may have their own terms, privacy notices, and technical limitations.

10) Changes to the Terms and governing law

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when published on this page. Continued use of KrakowMap after publication of changes means acceptance of the updated Terms. These Terms are governed by Polish law, subject to mandatory consumer-protection provisions where applicable.
